Having Problems with i-Coach?

Below is a list of typical problems that users may encounter, along with solutions.




1 I can't see where to login.

The login form should be in the top-right of the homepage.

Reasons why it won't be there are:

  • You have not installed the Flash 6 player.

  • The content and interface on i-Coach requires the Adobe Flash 6 player.
    You can download and install it for free by clicking here.
  • You don't have Javascript enabled on your browser.

  • i-Coach relies heavily on Javascript.
  • Your browser is not compatible with i-Coach.

1 When I try to login I get returned to the homepage.

This normally happens for one of two reasons:

  • You have entered your Username or Password incorrectly.

  • Firstly double-check that you have entered you details correctly. If you still can't login, then click here to have your Username and Password emailed to you.
  • You don't have 'cookies' enabled on your browser.

  • i-Coach requires browsers to have 'cookies' enabled. If you do not have 'cookies' enabled on your browser then you won't be able to use i-Coach.
  • Your browser is not compatible with i-Coach.

  • Click here to view the system requirements.

If you find that you are still unable to proceed, we advise deleting your Temporary Internet files (Internet Explorer Only). You can do this by following these steps:

  1. Click the Tools menu, then select Internet Options...
  2. In the General tab of the Internet Options window, click the Delete Files... button, then with the Delete all offline content option checked, click OK in the Delete Files window. This should delete any cached internet files (including i-Coach files).
  3. Now, close Internet Explorer, and reload again. Navigate to www.i-coach.com, enter your username and password then click the "Log in" button.

1 I get errors when logging in or using i-Coach.

  • Your browser is not compatible with i-Coach.

  • Click here to view the system requirements.
  • Your security settings are incorrect (Internet Explorer only).

  • For i-Coach to function correctly you need to have the correct security settings.
    To automatically set these:
    Goto to the "Tools" menu and select "Add to Trusted Zone".

    or you may do it manually from the Internet Explorer Advanced Options screen:
    Scripting -> Active Scripting -> Enabled
    ActiveX Controls -> Run ActiveX controls -> Enabled
    ActiveX Controls -> Script ActiveX controls -> Enabled
    Cookies -> Allow per-session cookies -> Enabled

    These settings should be enabled by default, but may have been adjusted by a system administrator. If in doubt please contact your IT department.
